I had a lovely overnight stay, and the warm atmosphere really made me feel at home while enjoying a delicious and ample breakfast in the morning, perfect fuel for my day of exploring. I also appreciated the hotel's great proximity to the stunning 199 Steps, which is just a short stroll away and offers breathtaking views of the Yorkshire coast.

The room was spacious and carpeted with a private entrance. It had a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. The bathroom was nice with a walk-in shower. Breakfast included a great selection, and the evening meals were generous in portions. The outdoor seating was perfect for relaxing after exploring the area.

The small double room offered a clean, inviting atmosphere with a pleasant aroma, making it a delightful retreat. Breakfast impressed with its variety, especially catering to vegetarian and vegan diets, which was much appreciated. the pillows felt overly firm, making sleeping less comfortable than desired. Dining options were limited in the off-season, and while room views were restricted to surrounding buildings, stepping outside unveiled the stunning scenery of the area nearby.

We had a fab time staying here! Our room was super clean and spacious, with tea and biscuits waiting for us. Breakfast was top-notch, and the staff were really friendly. The bar had good prices too! Just watch out for the stairs. they can be a bit steep, especially after a long day. All in all, a lovely experience!
